Matt is a BAFTA winning Musical Director, twice nominated OLIVIER Orchestrator and Musical Supervisor,  ROCKIE AWARD winning composer at the BANFF World Media Festival and a Whats on Stage winning Musical Supervisor. His work spans Theatre, Film, Television, Radio, Pop and Concerts.

He is Musical Supervisor  / Arranger and Orchestrator for numerous West End musicals including: Paddington the Musical, Starlight Express, Just for One Day, Come Alive: The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular, The Little Big Things and What's New Pussycat. He was musical supervisor for the West End runs of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and is orchestral conductor for the internationally acclaimed Notre Dame De Paris (London and Broadway),

Matt has been Music Producer for numerous albums including the cast albums, "Paddington" (UK Number 1), "Starlight Express", "Just for One Day" and "The Little Big Things". 

His orchestral worked has included English National Opera, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, Welsh Pops Orchestra and various session orchestras in London, Los Angeles and New York.

He was Arranger / Orchestrator  for the hit  TV shows: X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, America's Got Talent, America's Got Talent Champions, AGT All Stars and was Musical Director / Arranger for the BBC's primetime entertainment show, Tonight's the Night. His arrangements have also been heard on the Olivier Awards, Royal Variety Show, Last Night of the Proms, National Lottery Awards, Strictly Come Dancing and Any Dream Will Do. 

Matt has conducted and arranged for numerous Big Bands including, BBC Big Band, X Factor Big Band, Britain's Got Talent Big Band and America's Got Talent Big Band. He works with Gospel Choirs in London, New York and LA on various projects.

Matt was music producer for Paddington (number 1 album) and has been arranger and conductor for three UK number 1 Albums, and 3 UK number 1 Singles including James Arthur and Anne Marie's, "Rewrite the Stars". He has been Musical Supervisor on various West End and Touring Musicals and his theatre orchestrations have played worldwide. 

Matt condcuted and arranged for the movie Paddington 2.

Matt composed the music with Tom Fletcher for the Christmas BBC 1 special, Pudsey and the Threads of Hope.
 
Matt lives in South Wales with his wife, Laura and two sons, Alfie and Frankie.
